I hope everyone had a great winter break and is ready to start the New Year. Per Mr. Jahns earlier email, we are very happy to have a new sponsor and a permanent place to meet indoors once again. I was excited to begin the new year in our new home, however, mother nature had other ideas in store.
Most of the local School Districts (including ACPS) have canceled in person learning tomorrow, due to the impending snowstorm. As a result, we are also going to cancel our meeting tomorrow. We will begin the year fresh next week and on January 17th. For those that have not been to our new sponsor – see the address below:

EAGLE BOARD OF REVIEW:
I am very pleased to announce that Tim Larson successfully completed his Eagle Board of Review on the Wednesday the 22nd. This was a great early holiday present, so please be sure to congratulate Tim when you see him. The steps to Eagle are long and require tremendous commitment, a rousing huzzah is certainly in order!

For your reference, see attached to this email the Draft calendar for the year. We are still working out some of the specifics for the big events, however, this should give you an idea on what to look forward to. There is certainly something for everyone! For your reference here is a list of the key activities:

February 25th-27th – Camping- Skiing
March 18th-20th – Camping Spelunking
April 22nd – 24th – Back Packing Trip
May 14th-15th – 50 Mile Biking Camping Trip
June 10th – 12th – White Water Rafting/Camping
June 26th- July 2nd – Goshen – (We are locked into this week)
We are always looking for volunteers to help organize or participate in these events, so please don’t be shy if there is something that you would like to help with.
