Troop 131,
I hope you all enjoyed your last week of school and from the photographs on Facebook, it looks like all the scouts who went on the fishing trip had a great time … and caught LOTS of fish. I look forward to hearing the stories.
Thank you to Mr. Wells and Mr. Nguyen for planning the annual trip … it is certainly one of most popular activities!
I also want to call your attention to the fact that today is Flag Day. Our meeting tomorrow will acknowledge and celebrate that fact.
The countdown to summer camp begins and is just three weeks away!
As I mentioned at the last meeting, we are so proud to have so many Scouts or Scouters (over 18) who are affiliated with the troop who are counselors, counselors in training (CITs) or volunteers at camps this year. I miscounted the number … it is not 8 scouts but 10! Most of these scouts started their staff week at camp on Saturday and when we left them today, they all looked like they were already having a good time!
