Court of Honor 7:30 PM Monday!
Please join us for a masked, outdoor, Court of Honor for the Scouts Monday night at 7:30pm . This will be for Scouts AND FAMILIES, and is honoring their achievements. It will be at the rear ampitheater. We’ll have a campfire and hot cider! Your Scouts have worked hard, please attend! This normally lasts approximately 1 hour.
Scouting for Food! – November7
We are on our own this year, as it is not a District event. But there are still people in need, now more than ever, so we are having a Scouting for Food Dropoff November 7 at the FBC parking lot. Please see the other email regarding this and use the sign up genius to choose a time.
Orienteering – Prince William Forest Park – November 13-15
A Fall Favorite – camping nearby at PWFP. Orienteering, hiking, and just plain outdoor fun. More to come on this.
Dues are Due!
2021 dues are due. We are only 30% paid so far! As a reminder, the troop pays all dues for recharter (we are undergoing right now), which means if you don’t pay your Scout’s dues, then you will have to re-apply next year (which is a HUGE pain). See attached pdf with some easy instructions for options to pay.
We never want the ability to pay dues to stand in the way of the Scouting experience. If you would like a scholarship, please contact me or any Adult Leader directly and we’ll take care of it!
Wreath Sales
All scouts should have a form now – see the email from October 22. This is the Troops primary fundraiser, so please help us out and sell a few wreaths! Remember, in addition to supporting the troop:
- Half of the profit from your sales goes into your own scout account to be used for camp fees, summer camp, equipment, etc.
- Top seller in the troop earns a $25 Amazon gift card!

Blue Cards! Did you know that your Scoutmaster can email you a blue card? Just send me an email! Note that the SCOUT must request the blue card. Not the parent!
