IN PERSON MEETING:
We will have an in-person meeting Monday at 7:30 at Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill.

The parish hall is behind the main sanctuary, from the parking lot, just keep walking around on the sidewalk and you will see the entrance up the hill a bit.
We have four rank Board of Reviews taking place, please stay out of the back room unless you are in participating. We are always looking for parents to volunteer to be part of the Board of Reviews. If you are interested in participating in future reviews, please see Ms. Haymes and she can talk to you about what is required.
WEBELOS in the house!
We will have WEBELOS from Pack 129 joining us tomorrow night. It is that time of year where the WEBELOS are starting to consider troops to join as they cross over. We want them to choose Troop 131!
Can I ask that all the Scouts try to talk to them, include them in activities and generally make them feel at home. I will be talking to the parents separately, so it is very important that you all are CHEERFULL and HELPFUL!
COURT OF HONOR
Next week will be our first Court of Honor at our new location. As is tradition, many of you will be participating in the actives. Look for an email from your SPL with your presentation duties.
UNIFORM SWAP
At the Court of Honor, we will also have a uniform swap. The troop has quite a bit of extra gear and uniforms that scouts have outgrown or donated. Feel free to bring your used scout uniforms and to take something new if you have outgrown yours.
GOSHEN
The Merit badge registration opens on March 31st, and we want to get the scouts into the system well before that time. In this way, we have a fighting chance to get them the activities they want as some of the favorites; shooting sports, aquatics, first aid, etc. fill up very quickly.

EAGLE SCOUT SERVICE PROJECT:
Mathew Haymes is getting geared up for his Eagle Scout Project, please see note below from him. Let’s all be sure to support him in his project.
Scouts! I will be advertising my upcoming Eagle Scout project at the meeting. Look for dates to volunteer in early April. It’s going to be a muddy one!

BACKPACKING TRIP: Mudhole Gap
It is time to get signed up for the next outing. See message below from Mr. Mulvaney our Activities Coordinator.
The next trip will be after Spring Break. We are heading to Mudhole Gap. This is usually the favorite backpacking trip that we take. A great time for younger and more experienced Scouts alike.
It is backpacking, no cars this time. So if you want it, you carry, leave the cast iron at home!
Lots of opportunities on this one for merit badge work- Hiking, Camping, Cooking, Communications (campfire program), and more. Make sure to see Scoutmaster Ramirez if you need a Blue Card, and then let Mrs. Haymes know.
So sign up early and we can get to planning a terrific trip in April, the weekend of 22-24 April.

Blue Cards! Did you know that your Scoutmaster can email you a blue card? Just send me Mr. Ramirez an email (scoutmaster@t131.org)! Note that the SCOUT must request the blue card, not the parent!
