Troop 131,
Hope you are all enjoying your summer so far, here is Troop 131 news for you!
GOSHEN
This morning 17 of our Troop 131 scouts are off for a fun filled week at Goshen! They will have a blast I’m sure and we are also thankful for the 7 adult volunteers (including our illustrious Scoutmaster Mr. Ramirez) who will be there throughout the week. Thank you and I hope all our scouts and adults have some great experiences!
TROOP MEETING / GOLF
Just because we aren’t off to summer camp or some other fun vacation this week, doesn’t mean we can’t have some summer fun too! For this week’s Monday night meeting we will meet at Great Waves (4001 Eisenhower Ave, Alexandria) for some mini-golf! We will meet in front of the mini-golf course at 7:30 and the troop will cover your golf fees. Hope to see you guys there!
EAGLE SCOUT MATTHEW HAYMES
Be sure to congratulate Matthew Haymes when you see him. On Friday night Matthew went before his board of review and became our most recent Eagle Scout! Matthew has had a very active Scouting career, be sure to ask him about it and maybe you’ll get inspired to follow his footsteps! Congratulations Matthew!

HORSEBACK RIDING – August 12 – 14th
