Troop 131,
This time next week the troop will be at Summer Camp! For those going, make sure you check that you have all your gear and please make sure to do your pre-requisite requirements beforehand, otherwise you will receive a partial blue card.
Thank you to all the Scouts and Parents who came out Saturday morning to help on Owen’s Eagle project … he was able to get a lot done and is well on his way to completing it!
TROOP MEETING & BoR
We will have a Troop meeting at 7:30 PM this Monday at Immanuel Church on the Hill. The meeting will focus on Preparation for Goshen, gear required for camp and heat related issues, such as heat stroke.
During the meeting we will also have a Board of Review– I believe that we have two scouts who are up for Rank Advancement!
The adults will spend some time in the shed as well, pulling troop gear for the week!
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC – MUSEUM OF EXPLORATION (MOE)
As many of you know, I have been working on the MOE for almost 10 years. After all that time and work it finally opened its doors to the public on Friday. If you are looking for something to do this summer, then let me recommend that you visit, because it is an amazing experience.
